The residences

A real home, room by room.

Every residence is planned as a private one-bedroom home with a mirrored layout and its own lockable entrance. Here is how each room is designed to work for a long assignment.

The bedroom

Built for deep, daytime rest.

A premium queen platform bed anchors a room designed for sleep that does not follow the clock.

  • Premium queen platform bed with concealed under-bed storage, a design intent to hold two large checked suitcases (not a guaranteed fit)
  • True blackout window coverings
  • Noise-conscious design
  • Individual climate control

  • Full range and oven, dishwasher, and microwave
  • Real counter space and fully equipped cookware and dishware
  • Coffee maker and a fixed 42 by 30 table with four chairs

Workspace and connectivity

A private place to work, study, or catch up.

Every residence is designed with a dedicated workspace in the bedroom, so you can handle paperwork, study for a certification, or work privately, away from the living area.

  • Dedicated bedroom workspace in every residence
  • High-speed internet included
  • A private network for each residence
  • Video streaming included through Roku: thousands of free movies and shows, hundreds of live channels including 24/7 news, and YouTube
  • Add premium services with your own account
  • Cable television available on request

The layout

A conceptual floor plan.

An early concept of a mirrored one-bedroom layout. Room sizes and the exact arrangement are still being designed and will change.

Conceptual floor plan of a one-bedroom residence, about 19 feet 6 inches by 22 feet. A bathroom with a glass walk-in shower and linen closet sits at the upper left. The kitchen and dining area at the upper right has a refrigerator, range, sink, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and a 42 by 30 inch table for four. The bedroom at the lower left has a queen bed, nightstands, a built-in wardrobe, and a linen cabinet. The living room at the lower right has a three-seat sofa, round coffee table, and a television facing the sofa. A private entrance opens into the living room. Concept illustration

This plan predates two design updates: the stacked washer and dryer now sits in the bathroom rather than the kitchen, and each bedroom adds a dedicated workspace.
